Krishnapuram palace and museum
Built in 18th century, the palace is two-storied building known for its wall paintings and Kerala architecture. It has gabled roofs, narrow corridors and dormer windows. The museum houses many historic sculptures, canvas, bronze antiques and the largest mural painting of Kerala, Gajendra Moksham.
Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple
Located 14kms from Alleppey the temple is famous for the classic temple Kerala architecture and palpayasam. Dedicated Lord Krishna, the temple also celebrates Aarattu or temple festival held in the end of March.
RKK Memorial Museum
Built as a tribute to Mr. Revi, the museum is perfect display of unique artworks, porcelain, furniture, crystal clusters, ivory ware and 50 Tanjore paintings. The antiquity in the museum is the collection of wealthy businessman Ravi Karuna Karan and is located near Power House Bridge.
