Sri Venkateshwara Temple
Sri Venkateshwara Temple is located at the foothills of Tirumala Hills in Andhra Pradesh and is visited by lakhs of devotees everyday who come from far and wide. It is also popular as the richest temple in the world. It is believed that all no earnest prayer goes unanswered at this temple. According to the legends the idol of Lord Venkateshwara (also known as Vishnu, Balaji and Srinivasa) inside the sanctum sanctorum is self manifested. Also known as Tirupati Balaji, the temple finds mention in the ancient Hindu scriptures like Puranas, Vedas and Shastras.
Every day is celebrated like a festival at this temple. Different pujas and darshans are conducted at regular intervals every day. The biggest festival is ‘Brahmotsavam’ which is celebrated with great enthusiasm at the temple. It is a nine-day festival celebrated in the month of September every year.
Srikalahasti Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is located on the banks of river Swarnamukhi. Its beautiful architecture reflects the flawless amalgamation of Pallava, Chola and Pandya styles of architecture.
Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple has wonderful architecture. It also has a natural waterfall.
Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park
It is a home to a variety of arresting plants and animals. It is a perfect place to relax in the natural environment and enjoy glimpses of Mother Nature’s creatures. Sprawling across acres of land, it is located only 10 km from Tirupati in the districts of Kadapa and Chittoor. The Park was established in the year 1989 and derived its name from Lord Venkateshwara.
How to reach
The airport at Tirupati offers regular flights to and from the major cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. Tirupati is also well connected by rail and road with the important cities of the country.

Generally all are good except that in shimla. Silverine hotel is not a suitable hotel for elderly people as they need to walk up and downhill to the hotel….though the place is ideal for shoppers -
